What this site is
Madeira Tours is an independent guide to Madeira. It describes activities and trip planning, and links to other companies where you can book activities, transfers and car hire. We are not a tour operator or a travel agency. We do not run any activity, sell any booking or take any payment.
Who you book with
When you follow a booking link, you book with the company named on the booking page: GetYourGuide, Viator, DiscoverCars, or the company that runs the activity. Your contract is with them. Their prices, conditions and cancellation rules apply, and questions about a booking go to them.
How current the information is
We check the details we publish and show the date we checked them. Prices, timetables, permit rules and trail conditions change, sometimes from one day to the next. Confirm the details on the booking page, and check official closures and weather warnings before you set out.
Outdoor activities
Mountain trails, levadas and the sea in Madeira can be dangerous, and conditions change quickly. You are responsible for choosing activities that suit your fitness and experience, for following your guide's or operator's instructions, and for respecting trail closures.
Our responsibility
We write carefully, but we cannot guarantee that everything here is complete or up to date. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on this site or from services other companies provide. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country.

The text and photos on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may quote short passages with a link to the page. Links to other sites are for your convenience; we do not control those sites.
Changes and law
