A miradouro is a viewpoint, and Madeira has a great many of them. Many sit right beside the road, so you can park and walk a few steps to the view; others are the end point of an old path along the cliffs.

Each guide here covers one viewpoint: where it is, with GPS coordinates, how to reach it by car, bus or on foot, what you see from it, and what else is nearby. Every fact is checked against a named source, and each page shows the date it was last checked.
